Rev. Veronica Joseph

VeronicaVeronica Joseph was born on the Island of Carriacou, Grenada. She moved to England in 1965 and resided in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire until 1973 when she relocated to London to train as a Registered Nurse. It was always her desire to care for people who were hurting and remembers from early as the age of three that she wanted to be a nurse. Looking back Veronica understands how nursing and pastoring go hand-in-hand. At the age of 21 Veronica accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. She was baptised at the Latter Rain Outpouring Revival Church on 13th March 1977 where she became a member under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. O.V Parris, a strong and dynamic woman of God. During those formative years of her faith, Veronica was taught never to settle for less and to always strive for excellence. She was given every opportunity to learn by Reverend Parris who taught her everything she knew about life as a Christian and the Word.

Two years after her conversion during an outreach crusade in St Lucia Veronica recognised the call of God for her life and began to minister publicly.

In 1983 Veronica joined the London Community Gospel Choir, a radical group of young Christians from different Christian denominations, uniting together to spread the good news of Kingdom of God. This unprecedented group of people found themselves in controversy with their local churches. Due to this, a number of them found themselves without a regular place of worship; hence a prayer group was formed.

As people got saved through the ministry of the Choir, it became apparent that they needed a place to grow in the Word and be discipled, hence the birth of Agape Fellowship International. During this time, the Lord had impressed upon Veronica’s heart to nurture the new converts, she ceased travelling with the Choir at weekends to follow the Lord’s instructions, as the Ministry grow she eventually resigned.

Building her Ministry

After attending Bible College Veronica was ordained as a minister in 1992 and took up the pastoral office within Agape Fellowship International. Pastor Veronica maintained her career as a registered Nurse until 1995. During a Mission to London event she was a gain challenged by the Lord to give up her career for full time service in the Ministry. It was at this point that God began to speak to her about building a foundation in order that He may build His Church.

An Apostle by calling, Pastor Veronica has a clear mandate from God to restore true worship to the body of Christ by means of the Word, the Worship and relevantly addressing the challenges of today’s changing society through the Work.

In 2000 whilst on the island of Carriacou God began to put various ideas into her heart and asked her to build according to the pattern He was giving her. In 2002 Pastor Veronica launched Solid Foundation Ministries and at the same time she launched Agape Tabernacle Ministries.

In 2003 she was ordained as an apostle to the Church by Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International and Dr Sharon Stone of Christian International Europe.
